Technical Direction, Carpentry, and Rigging

I am a Technical Director, carpenter, and rigger who loves to build things and overcoming challenges. I have worked in many different theatres and gained knowledge from many people along the way.

For the past 5 years, I have worked as the Assistant Technical Director for the NC State University Theatre. At NCSU, I train students on all aspects of the scenery for a production. I supervise the construction of every production, maintain a clean shop and working machinery, execute all aspects of rigging needed for each show, and draft scenery when it is needed.

I am a graduate from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with my degree in technical production with an emphisis in technical direction. I have experience in many different fields of theatre, including carpentry, electrics, rigging, and sound.

Before working for NCSU, I worked for other companies such as Barrington Stage Company, Busch Gardens Tampa, and the Des Moines Metro Opera.
